This week has begun with an installation of a stable block in Buckinghamshire.

Consisting of 2 x 12×12 stables and a tack room in our 175mm x 38mm pressure treated weatherboard cladding.

*Framework is 100mm x 50mm (4”x2”) pressure treated

*Roof joists are 125mm x 50mm planed all round and pressure treated

*Black onduline with the addition of roof lights for natural light

Onduline is an extremely tough, lightweight, corrugated roofing material manufactured from bitumen saturated organic fibres. It has a 15-year insurance backed water proofing guarantee, withstands wind speeds up to 120mph, it does not rust, rot or become brittle and has high insulation and sound absorbency values.  Onduline is also available in green, red and brown.

*Extended 1.2 metre overhang complete with pressure treated support posts and gallow braces, as standard all our apex roofs come with a 950mm overhang. There is the opportunity to upgrade to 1.2 metres, 1.8 metres or 2.4 metres.

*Front windows with vents and grills

*Central Partition with a talk grill

*Kick boards 1.2 high in 11mm OSB

*Galvanised door surround chew strips to prevent damage to the door frames

*12mm Rubber matting was also installed in the stables

*The stable block sits on a concrete base and a single brick course and anchored with heavy duty galvanised angle brackets securing it to the base.
