At Finer Stables, we specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality bespoke equestrian buildings, tailored to meet the unique needs of every horse owner.
Crafted using only the finest quality, pressure-treated timbers, our buildings are constructed to the highest standards and installed by our experienced team. We understand that each customer has different requirements, which is why we offer fully customisable solutions—from layout and roofing to doors, cladding, and more.
Superior Build Quality
All external and internal timber used in our timber stables undergoes pressure treatment. This process forces environmentally friendly, non-toxic preservatives deep into the wood, offering long-lasting protection against rot and decay—ensuring durability, safety, and peace of mind.
Our standard stable specification includes:
Framework: 100mm x 50mm (4” x 2”) pressure treated
Roof Joists: 125mm x 50mm P.A.R pressure treated
Roofing: Black Onduline as standard (coloured Onduline and galvanised options available)
Doors: Bottom doors fitted with galvanised furniture and 250mm deep anti-chew strip
Interior Kickboards: 1.2m high, 11mm OSB
Galvanised Ridge Capping
Cladding Options
Choose from two premium, pressure-treated cladding styles:
Shiplap Cladding: 19mm x 125mm
Weatherboard Cladding: 15mm x 125mm
Customisation & Optional Upgrades
As experienced horse owners, we understand that not every building requires the same features. That’s why we offer a wide range of optional upgrades to suit your individual needs and budget. Whether you’d prefer to fit your own guttering, skip top doors, or add extra windows—we’ll help you create a solution that works for you.
